The Mini 30x30
CHALLENGE
A global movement that empowers students to advocate for ocean protection, encouraging a stronger commitment of UN Member States to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030.
Young changemakers from around the world will learn, discuss, and take action on the need to implement Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).
Their collective voices will be reflected in an open letter to the United Nations, to be delivered at the 3rd UN Ocean Conference.
For students from ages 4 to 18.

UNOC 3
3rd UN Ocean Conference
The UN Ocean Conference is dedicated to SDG 14 – “Life Below Water”.
UNOC3, co-hosted by Costa Rica and France, will take place in Nice, in June 2025. It will be a key platform for decision-makers to accelerate efforts to protect the ocean.
This is a unique opportunity to amplify students’ voices to be heard at UNOC3.
