CHALLENGE
A global movement that empowers students to advocate for ocean protection, encouraging a stronger commitment of UN Member States to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030.
Young changemakers from around the world will learn, discuss, and take action on the need to implement Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).
This students’ wave was heard at UNOC3
and keeps increasing and urging decision-makers for bold ocean action.

AT UNOC 3
At the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), the Mini 30×30 gave voice to students advocating for ocean protection and a more sustainable future.
An open letter was delivered to the UN with a global message from 9355 students from 27 countries.
The challenge keeps going on.
